A family business, not a franchise
Poo Patrol is Link and Melissa, a small crew of local techs, and Bear the German Shepherd, who takes his role as Chief Operating Officer very seriously. We live here, our kids play in these yards, and we treat every lawn like our own.
We're a verified service-disabled veteran-owned small business, and a portion of every single visit goes to Deafinitely Dogs to help place service animals with veterans in our community.

Here's what Iowa dog owners say after we've been through their yards.
Nobody's favorite chore.
Our whole job.
You love your dog. The weekly landmine sweep, not so much. Poo Patrol picks it up on a schedule that fits your life: weekly, twice a week, every other week, or a one-time rescue before the graduation party. You'll get a text when we're headed your way and another when the yard is clean.

Same tech, same day each week, so your yard never falls behind.
Insured, background-checked, uniformed
Branded trucks, tools and boots cleaned between every yard.

If we miss a pile, tell us and we'll come back free. No fine print.
Proudly scooping 75+ Iowa towns
Our routes cover the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City corridor, the Des Moines metro, the Cedar Valley, and Dubuque, plus the acreages in between. If your town isn't listed, ask anyway. The routes keep growing.
Quick answers
What areas do you service?
We proudly provide pet waste removal across more than 75 Iowa towns: the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City corridor, the Des Moines metro (Des Moines, Ankeny, West Des Moines, and more), Waterloo and Cedar Falls, and Dubuque. Check our Service Areas page for the full list, and if you are close but not on it, reach out anyway. Our routes grow all the time.
How do I sign up for your services?
Signing up is easy! Request a free quote online in about a minute, or call or text us at 319-420-POOP. Pick the plan that fits your yard and your dogs, and we will schedule your first cleanup, often within the week.
How often should I schedule a pooper scooper service?
For most yards we recommend weekly service. It keeps waste from building up, keeps odors and lawn damage in check, and is the best value. We also offer twice-a-week, bi-weekly, and one-time cleanups for special occasions.
What if I need an extra clean-up?
No problem. If you need an extra visit outside your regular schedule, before a graduation party, family barbecue, or any backyard event, just contact us and we will arrange a convenient time to get your yard guest-ready.
