Announcing an Inspiring Partnership: Poo Patrol & Deafinitely Dogs Unite for Veterans

At Poo Patrol, we believe in giving back to the community, and we’re thrilled to announce a heartwarming new partnership with Deafinitely Dogs - an organization that provides highly trained service dogs to veterans, individuals with hearing impairments, and those experiencing PTSD or other psychiatric challenges. Starting this fall, Poo Patrol will be donating a portion of every service visit to support Deafinitely Dogs in their mission to help veterans regain independence through the power of service animals.

Who Is Deafinitely Dogs?

Deafinitely Dogs! is a Cedar Rapids-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities by pairing them with service dogs. These dogs are trained to assist with tasks such as alerting their handlers to important sounds, mitigating PTSD triggers, and providing emotional support. Their work has been especially impactful for veterans suffering from PTSD, helping them reintegrate into civilian life with renewed confidence and independence.

How Poo Patrol’s Partnership Makes a Difference

For every yard we clean or every mess we scoop, part of the proceeds will go directly to Deafinitely Dogs to fund their service dog training and placement programs. Service dogs are life-changing companions, but the training process is intensive, expensive, and can take years to complete. Our contributions will help offset these costs and ensure more veterans receive the assistance they need.

Each service dog provided by Deafinitely Dogs undergoes specialized training to meet the unique needs of veterans, including PTSD support, anxiety mitigation, and even physical task assistance.
