Polk County, Iowa
Pooper Scooper Service in Johnston, IA
Johnston is home to 17,278 people across 18.33 square miles, big enough that we run more than one visit day here and you can usually pick the one that suits your week. At roughly 943 people per square mile, lots here run generous. Bigger yards take longer to walk properly, which is exactly why we grid them instead of eyeballing them. Our Des Moines crew works out of 7.2 miles away, so this is home turf and a same-week start is normally no trouble.

Larger Johnston lots get walked in overlapping passes rather than a single loop, because the middle of a big yard is where piles get missed. You get a text when the yard is done and the gate is latched.
Johnston homes can book weekly, twice-a-week, bi-weekly or a one-time cleanup, and the same crew covers commercial properties in Polk County: HOAs, apartment grounds and any business with a pet-friendly patch of grass.
The Johnston figures above come from Wikidata (Q1911175), and the 7.2 miles is straight-line distance to our Des Moines crew rather than a drive time.

What Your Neighbors Say
Fantastic service from Poo Patrol! Jadon is dependable and does a thorough job every time. Scheduling and communication are seamless, and the entire process is completely hassle-free. I especially appreciate the follow-up email after each visit, noting everything looks normal and including a photo confirming the gate is securely shut, no worrying about it being left open. Super reliable, easy to work with, and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

How soon can you start in Johnston?
Our Des Moines crew is 7.2 miles from Johnston, so a first cleanup this week is usually no problem, sometimes within a day or two. Ask for a quote and we will name the Johnston route day when we reply.
Do you serve the whole Polk County area around Johnston?
Yes. Johnston is one of Polk County's communities on our list, and at 18.33 square miles it is covered in full, along with the acreages and unincorporated pockets between towns. If your place sits outside the Johnston limits, call and describe it: the answer out here is usually still yes.
